Pour over coffee is a fast, easy, and delicious way to make your coffee! Whether you’re using a paper filter with your pour over, or a fine stainless steel mesh filter, your pour over coffee will undoubtedly be some of the best coffee you’ve ever made!
Use a coffee grinder (manual or electric) and grind your high quality coffee beans to a medium coarseness. This grind will make the best tasting pour over coffee.
Choose your ratio of coffee to water. We suggest trying 2-3 tablespoons per cup of coffee. Make sure to try out different ratios to see what your preference is. Put your coffee in the pour over filter.
Heat your water to 195-205 degrees Celsius. Usually boiling water and taking it off boil for 30 seconds will bring it down to 205C. For best results, you should use a pour over kettle to pour your water and properly bloom your coffee.
Pour the water in slow circular motions over the coffee until the coffee is soaked. Leave for 30 seconds to allow coffee to “bloom”. Repeat this step until all water is used.
Remove filter and coffee grounds and serve!
